MOWI isn’t just a company - it’s a story about salmon. As the world’s leading producer, MOWI manages the full cycle: farming, processing, and delivering premium-quality salmon to consumers.  MOWI is also the name of a unique salmon strain, originating from the wild Vosso and Årøy rivers in western Norway. With its refined taste and 20% more Omega-3 than regular salmon, MOWI stands for uncompromising quality. What makes the brand stand out? A radical approach to animal welfare. MOWI owns the world’s only farms where salmon grow in stress-free, near-natural conditions, fed exclusively with healthy, antibiotic-free feed that undergoes strict quality control.

Recipe for a Social Success

Just like every great dish starts with a recipe, our work with MOWI began with strategy.

Workshops were our first step, helping us define target groups, shape core communication pillars, and determine the right digital tools to meet business goals.

Once the recipe was ready, we put on our aprons and, together with Ten Zacharski, crafted a campaign menu that would delight MOWI’s audience.

Of course, all communication efforts on MOWI’s social channels were reinforced with precisely targeted Meta Ads campaigns.

The perfect blend of engaging content, polished design, and smart targeting delivered impressive outcomes in just a few months:

One of our key responsibilities is micro-narrative management which is also responding calmly and transparently to community concerns around farmed salmon. We explain how MOWI salmon are raised, and highlight the brand’s dedication to welfare, sustainability, and quality.

But education alone isn’t enough. Our content mix also serves inspiration like original culinary recipes featuring MOWI salmon, tips on eating healthy, stories about Norway, the birthplace of MOWI and a strong focus on sustainability under the #BlueRevolution banner.

Creative Flavor

As MOWI’s strategic partner in social media presence, we also deliver image-building and sales campaigns.

As MOWI’s strategic partner for social media presence, we also manage both branding and sales campaigns.  One of the highlights is the bold campaign “Don’t Go to Norway”, created in collaboration with the German agency MOTOR. Following their ATL concept, we leveraged the image of Kristofer Hivju, the star of Game of Thrones.

Our role is to make the most of Facebook and Instagram for the campaign,  maximize reach, attract new fans and ensure the client’s assets are used to their full potential.
